How to Extend Your Visa in Bali, Indonesia 2017

How to Extend Your Visa in Bali, Indonesia 2017

Over the past several months, my wife and I have extended our visas in Bali 3 times. We've been living in Bali and traveling around Asia for the past 6 months. Here's how to extend your visa in Bali, Indonesia in 2017. This was the last time we had to extend our visas before moving back to California in April of 2017. When you arrive in Indonesia you need to do the Visa on Arrival (VOA). You will then pay about $35 USD at the airport. NOTE: You only need to do the Visa on Arrival and extend your visa if you plan to stay in Indonesia for more than 30 days. After you've been in the country for 3 weeks, you'll need to start the visa extension process. Make…

Aling Aling Waterfall Bali Adventure + Vlog

Aling Aling Waterfall Bali Adventure + Vlog

I jumped off a lot of cliffs this day at Aling Aling Waterfall Bali. We also went down a natural water slide and tried the smelliest fruit in the world! This was the best waterfall we visited while we lived in Bali for 6 months. There is so much to do here and it's not very touristy because it takes a while to get here and it's a hike. It's not a difficult hike, but just be aware that you'll have to go up and down some stairs. Watch the vlog we put together of our adventure here at Aling Aling waterfall in Bali! Yanui Beach Hideaway Review

Yanui Beach Hideaway Review

My wife and I spent 2 weeks on Phuket, Thailand and this was our favorite place that we stayed. Here is our Yanui Beach Hideaway review. Yanui Beach Hideaway was truly an oasis for my wife and I. Everything about this place was just our style. We’re loving this beach hideaway on the south end of Phuket, Thailand! If you’re ever on Phuket you’ve gotta check this place out! It’s off the main road so it’s a lot quieter than all the other places we’ve stayed but it’s still central to all of the best beaches in south Phuket 🌊🌴☀️ #thailand #phuket #yanuibeach #rawaibeach #naiharnbeach A photo posted by Luke Bender (@lukebender) on Dec 11, 2016 at 9:11am PST   Yanui Beach Hideaway Review This is the perfect beach getaway if…

Our Phuket, Thailand Adventure

Our Phuket, Thailand Adventure

In December, 2016 my wife Monet and I spent about 2 weeks traveling around and exploring the island of Phuket, Thailand. We had a couple of friends meet us for the last few days on Phuket before leaving for Phi Phi and then on to Chang Mai. Here’s everything we did in Phuket, Thailand. Also here’s a video that highlights some of the stuff we did in Phuket. Northern Phuket We arrived to the Phuket airport (which is in the northern part of Phuket) late at night and needed a place to crash fast, that’s when we booked this Airbnb. It’s proximity to the airport was the main reason why we chose it and it ended up being great. The location itself is away from the touristy stuff but close to many resort…

Teaching Kids How To Surf In Rosarito, Mexico

Teaching Kids How To Surf In Rosarito, Mexico

In July 2016 I took a 3 day trip to Mexico with 2 friends where we taught kids how to surf. We were able to share our passion for surfing with these kids and it was amazing! The Team Several months ago my friend David from college messaged me on Facebook asking me if I would be interested in going to Mexico to serve at a church called Hope Chapel Rosarito and host a surf camp. I immediately said yes along with another friend who’s name is also Luke! David had set up a Go Fund Me account for our trip where we needed to raise $500 to pay for our housing, food, gas, and make sure everything else for the surf day was taken care of. Through sending personal…
